More takeover shenanigans for our friends at Specsavers with NASA's now-defunct Shuttle as the setting for our latest heist on the MSN homepage.  Combining live action, 3D and Flash, the finished work was a BIG hit with users and won 'Smartest Ad EMEA' at the 2011 Rich Media Awards in Noo Yoik!  *blushes*

The Mr. Men provided the innocent-looking inspiration for this fiendishly complicated takeover.  The ad had a stunning 48% expansion rate (more than 50% above the norm), which meant in 24 hours, 4.7 million users took the trip to Happyland, interacting with the creative for a staggering average time of over 2 minutes.  For the same campaign, infinite corridor also created a series of ads to run on LU's platforms and escalators and a rather cute flash nanosite.

'One small step', 'We have lift off', 'Out of this world' and 'I think I've blown an O-ring' - all of these phrases and many more should write themselves into any post involving space and astronauts.  However, for brevity's sake, we'll just point out that our Space Shuttle takeover for Specsavers has had some very nice things said about it - and point you towards this interview that David gave to those lovely people on the creativezone blog.

If blog entries are like buses, the i.c. Oyster card is about to take a proper pounding.  A little while ago, with a minimum of fuss, infinite corridor was born.   We thought we’d find our feet, design a logo, build a website and then put out a press release telling the world that infinite corridor had arrived.  Easy.

Well, things got busy (thanks TK Maxx) and in all the excitement we forgot the press release.  We did find the time to release a couple of other things, though (The Bravermann Project & There Are No Others…) but more on those over the next few days.

So, for now, please consider this to be our Official Launch Blog Entry.   Sorry for the delay but we hope you liked it as much as having the double seat on the top deck at the front of the bus all to yourself.

Hmm.  Actually, forget the bus analogy.

Welcome to infinite corridor.

You.  Are.  Here.
